Dentists are usually very happy with their career.
Often they are able to dictate their own hours and make a decent living. They are able to enhance the health and lifestyle of their patients by improving their oral health and reducing any discomfort. They also have the option of working in a group or solo independent practice.



Once admitted, a dental school education consists of four years of coursework, which includes both the practice and theory of general dentistry. Years one and two of consist of in-class instruction, which covers general dental anatomy and general pathology.
These first two years are the basis of a series of clinical exams, which is divided two parts.
